PERFORMANCE
Our Model # 5460A is our Heaviest Duty System model, featuring an Extended Height Exhaust and Fire Suppression, and powered by:
- A 11/2 HP, hazardous location,
direct drive motor/fan assembly. This type of assembly will save time and
provide more power than a cheaper belt driven type. No adjusting belts or loss
of power from friction loss along pulleys.
- Features a backward curved, non-overloading (non-sparking) aluminum
fan wheel constructed with hollow airfoil blades, and an aluminum inlet cone.
- Fan wheels are statically and dynamically balanced to
provide higher airflow performance at less horsepower, and with minimum air noise. This
design allows for more efficient airflow utilizing less horsepower.
SAFETY
An Air Filtration System can mitigate the spread of particulate, overspray, odors, and VOCs throughout your facility. This means less clean-up, longer life of surrounding equipment and electronics, reduced maintenance, and a healthier work environment for your employees. Some safety features come equipped standard on the Model 5460A including:
- UL listed, Hazardous Location rated motors with controls wired through a sealed explosion-proof setup. Standard setup is ready to receive 115v power from a 20 amp outlet with a 30’ cord. Additional power options are available to meet your needs.
- This Model has the added protection of a dedicated Fire Suppression System installed by our Fire and Safety partner and includes a signed certificate of installation.
- Additional options are available to include with the 5460A but may denote a different Model #. (See Chart Below)

- Health- Cleaner air quality has been shown in recent studies to increase satisfaction and productivity among employees and greatly reduce certain health concerns.
- Maintenance- Cleaner air quality will also ensure that finished products stay in optimal condition by capturing the particulates that would normally settle onto equipment and electronics, avoiding costly replacements.
EFFICIENCY
We have designed the filter housing to accept 20x20 size filters and made the rack depth adjustable, making customizing the perfect combination of filters even easier with no hunt for unconventional sized filters with limited availability. Each unit also comes with a Magnehelic Gauge installed to monitor the life of your installed filters. This all comes standard for convenience on top of the efficiency of our Filters themselves. Our standard CCC filter set, included with this Model, features aggressive filtration which not only removes a very high percentage of airborne particulates (Tested at 99.78% efficient), but also uses activated carbon filters to remove odors and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).
